Style Crazy: Marc Bolan

Marc Bolan knew what was up. He invented glam rock and launched a whole new avenue of fashion. Bolan was a really small guy and kinda man-pretty so he took inspiration from women and would wear blouses and eyeliner. Only around 5'6, he'd wear ladies' ballet flats to seem smaller and was known to sit in HUGE chairs in photos to seem even smaller-er. Marc Bolan is my total (style/music/life) inspiration since I'm a dainty little man that is only 5'6 and fights at 145 pounds. I want it to be on record that I'd strangle a kitten to have Marc Bolan's hair. Also one of my life goals is to aquire some of Marc's clothes. They'd fit me perfectly!

Perhaps the best thing about Marc Bolan is that he would wear t-shirts with his face on them. I pose the question to you, dear reader...Could you pull off wearing a t-shirt with your picture on it?

Cults - Self Titled (2011)

I am just bonkers about Cults right now. This is a group that sounds like Phil Spector picked up a Ouija board to ressurect the souls of girl groups of the past and, boy, is it fantastic. This got introduced to me by my friend Samantha the other day and I remembered hearing a while ago the earworm that is "Go Outside". My favorite track has to be "You Know What I Mean". That song gives me the geebies and it's a good feeling. Let me tell you what to do...Listen some Cults, get a Ouija board and ask it "Will You Go To The Dance With Me?" and let the magicly haunting romance POSSESS YOU!
